CYSC RIAS Guideline

1. Pre-Season Application Process

Prior to each season, the CYSC office will email teams requesting four (4) dates the coaches would like to blackout of their schedule. Teams must respond by the stated deadline with the required information. After the deadline, the CYSC office will enter each team’s application into the Georgia Soccer system.

A. Blackout Dates

  • Georgia Soccer allows up to four (4) optional blackout dates per team.
  • Fall Season: Typically begins the first weekend after Labor Day and ends around the second or third weekend in November.
  • Spring Season: Typically begins the first weekend in March and ends around the second or third weekend in May.
  • Depending on the number of teams, Georgia Soccer will schedule 8–10 league games.
  • Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Blackout dates are not required, but should be chosen carefully based on team availability.

B. Game Requests

  • Teams may request games on Saturday, Sunday, or Both.
  • Teams may request game times in the AM, PM, or Both.
  • Note: Georgia Soccer requests that Sunday games be scheduled after 1:00 PM.

2. Player Cards

Once the coaching packet is picked up from the CYSC office, players picture must be uploaded into the Georgia Soccer database. This is the responsibility of the coach or team manager and must be completed before the first scheduled game.

After uploading, contact the CYSC office to have the players cards printed or emailed in PDF format.
